Stephen Ministry
Fox Valley Presbyterian Church is a Stephen Ministry church. Stephen Ministers are specially trained lay caregivers who provide one-to-one Christian care to anyone facing a crises or life challenge.
Stephen Ministry is confidential ministry: those receiving care can be sure that their identity and what goes on in the caring relationship will remain private.

Prayer Chain
“Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).
The Prayer Chain is a group of praying, caring individuals who pray daily for the people, events, and concerns requested by members and friends of Fox Valley Presbyterian Church.
Prayer requests are received by pew cards and phone calls to the church office. These requests are passed on by phone and e-mail to the members of the prayer chain. If you have a prayer request, please call the church office at (630) 232-7448 or send an e-mail.
Job Search & Support Group
The Job Search and Support Group was formed to provide support to individuals who are looking for a job due to recent graduation from college, layoff, corporate downsizing, or the need for a new opportunity due to changing personal circumstances. The Job Search and Support Group provides
- Assistance in developing technical job search skills, such as resume preparation, interviewing skills, and networking
- Emotional support to maintain a positive attitude through what can be a challenging period
Pastoral Visitation
There are times when a visit from a pastor is needed. All of our pastors are available for a pastoral visit. If you have a need or know of someone who would like a pastoral visit, please contact the church office at (630) 232-7448 or the Pastor for Visitation, Melinda Hinners, by phone at (630) 584-7218 or by e-mail.
Please know that because of new privacy regulations, hospitals no longer call the church to inform us if someone has been admitted to the hospital. If you know of someone admitted to the hospital, please contact the church office.
